Position: All Positions
Experience: Intermediate
Comments: I've been sailing since I was quite young, started out on sunfish lasers and mercurys, moved up to racing c420s, and then larger 30-50ft boats in highschool and college. I haven't been racing as much in the past couple years but I am hoping to get back into racing now that I have more time on my hands. I'm looking to get picked up as crew on a boat that doesn't mind me being a little rusty, I'm a fast learner and will work my butt off in any role I'm assigned to. My day job is as an EMS supervisor for a large city ambulance service, so I'll also be able to assist with medical emergencies if needed.

I have crewed sloops, yawls and cutters ranging from J/24 to Frers 46 and welcome the opportunity to join a team seeking a sure and active participant. Comments: Hi, I'm highly motivated individual eager to get more offshore and racing experience. I have the Canada Sail Basic and Intermediate Keel Boat certification and also Coastal Navigation (Basic and Intermediate) certification and finally have marine meteo training. I did my first offshore convoyage between Bermuda and Halifax a few weeks ago with a short handed crew of 3 where I took solo night watches each night. I also did a bareboat rental in January for 10 days in Martinica. I have owned a Tanzer 22 based in Montreal for 3 years now. I'm 42 years old and in extremely good shape. I'm a serious individual (actuary by trade Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society) but have a great sense of humor. I'm humble and eager to learn. I'm flexible with time and location. I'm also flexible to help for a convoyage or be a race crew member. You can reach out at 514-208-3924 (text or call) or marc_olivier_faulkner@hotmail.com ?
